Upgrade Detroit leaps into spring with a special show about Detroit Public Schools

DETROIT – Positive Detroit is celebrating spring with a new name, Upgrade Detroit. The non-profit group will host a special show about the changes in Detroit’s Public School system on Sunday March 28, 2010 at 8p.m. The online radio show “Upgrade Detroit” will feature a special interview with David Flanagan, founder and director of Detroit-based educational group Dad’s Love to Read.

Tuesday, December 16, 2008 – Make this year a literacy campaign and choose a book as a gift. Check out Ladels Bookstore in Corktown. This quaint shop is full of imagination. Although this is the only children’s bookstore in Detroit, so much love and wonder for us adults as well.

Yes that is right everyone we have decided to create our very own Positive Detroit talk radio show.

Why? Simple, since day one our mission has been to feature all of the positive things going on in and around the city of Detroit. And our talk radio will be another means of getting out all this good news.

We must admit our show will not be heard on your typical radio. Our show will be a live online talk show in which listeners can call in, chat in real time, and listen from their pc or phone.
