The Blank Page

Monica Link

In a writer’s world a blank page on deadline is viewed as a bad thing. During these tough times across the nation, starting over with a blank page and a clean slate can do the heart a whole lot of good.

There’s been much chatter about bailouts and bankruptcy – all things that mean a clean slate and a fresh start. A break-up or divorce , which are sad things – can lead to happy things when you change your perspective about starting over.

So, what do you do with a blank page that defines your life? You start from scratch and fill it up with love, happiness and all the great things that fill up your story. If you get downsized, fired or experience a break-up …. welcome the challenge. There are some of you who longed of doing something you love – do it! It is never too late to do anything as long as you have breath. If you long of meeting someone you can love, its not too late for that either.

Don’t worry about being laughed at. When you succeed, you’ll get the last laugh. Those people making fun of you probably don’t have enough courage to follow their burning passion or make the changes in their life that bring happiness and joy.

Live a life of Love.
Love God,
Love your life,
Love you and love those around you.

Look at the downsize as an upgrade, a chance to be a better you and do the things you’ve always wanted to do. If your passion is painting, becoming a vet or owning a construction business – you can be anything when you look at life with a clean slate. Forget about the days of old, disappointments and skies so blue. Seize the day, fill the blank page with a life filled with a better you.
